Late surge pushes South past Davies
WDAY TV - The EDC race would either become crystal clear or a jumbled mess Thursday night as the big schools got a head start on the football weekend.
Davies and South started the night tied for second in the conference, knowing a win would open the door to a home playoff game.
After the Eagles took a 14-13 lead in the 4th, the Bruins came roaring back.
It started with a 20 yard touchdown run from Carter Morrau to give South back the lead, then Morrau put sealed the game with 66 yard run.
The Bruins hung on 26-22 and move to 4-1 in the EDC with the win. The Eagles fall to 3-2 in the conference with the loss.
