Update with highlights: Fargo Little League one win away from World Series after 6-0 victory

WESTFIELD, IN - The Fargo Little League team is a win away from the biggest stage in the sport.

Fargo knocked off Coon Rapids (MN) 6-0 Wednesday morning to advance to the Midwest Regional final.

Jordan Leininger struck out 12 batters, while only allowing six hits. Leininger on his performance; "It was last year's state championship, I gave up seven runs in the first inning against these guys, hope it wouldn't happen again and we came out on top of this one."

Landon Meier drove in two runs to lead Fargo, Adam Kankelfritz had two hits.

Fargo head coach Mike Rerick on the prospects of reaching the World Series: "They know they're close, but again the kids don't show any stress, they're having a blast. We just spent the last couple of hours meeting with ESPN, kids were doing promos for ESPN

for the game on Saturday, it's just an experience of a lifetime for them."

Fargo will now play in the Midwest Regional Final Saturday morning at 10 am on ESPN.
