DILWORTH, MN - Saying goodbye to the sport you love may be the hardest thing to do for a high school senior.

But for four-year starters Andrew Oberg and Taylor Irwin of the DGF baseball team, letting go means starting a new chapter.

Oberg and Irwin were approached by multiple teams to play college baseball, but elected to hang up the cleats following their senior seasons to pursue other goals.

Oberg will be headed to Colorado State on a full-ride ROTC scholarship and Irwin will be staying close to home at MSUM studying financial statistic with a actuarial science degree.

The Rebels will face Maple Lake in the Minnesota AA quarterfinals, Thursday in St. Cloud.
