Grace City, ND farmer who underwent emergency heart surgery receives help from Farm Rescue
Grace City, ND (WDAY News) - People from all over the country are in Eddy and Foster Counties to help a local farmer harvest his crops.
Volunteers with Farm Rescue are helping a family in Grace City, North Dakota.
Gilbert Black recently had emergency heart surgery and is unable to harvest his corn crop.
While he recovers he says help received from volunteers and neighbors has been a Godsend.
"I would normally be just really stressed but that's really helped with recovery knowing that. Matter of fact, if I'm out here, I get in the way so it's good to know that there's somebody here to help out," said Gilbert Black, Farmer.
Volunteers with Farm Rescue have helped more than 400 families in crisis in the last decade.
