West Fargo police chase ends with arrest
WEST FARGO -- A Grafton man is in jail after leading authorities on a car chase on Sunday, January 7th.
According to a release by the West Fargo Police Department, a police chase started on Sunday at 1:38 am when officers tried to make a traffic stop on a suspected stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of 9th St. E.
The suspects vehicle didn't stop and began to flee police.
The pursuit continued into the 1300 block of 19th Ave NW.
Police were able to disable the vehicle with a tire deflation device.
The driver, David Schiebe, 42, of Grafton was arrested for possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of meth paraphernalia, fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, possession of stolent property, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, driving under suspension and 5 outsanding warrants.
Schiebe was taken to Cass County Jail.
