FERGUS FALLS—Police have now arrested three people after a shooting in Fergus Falls on Tuesday that left one man hospitalized with a gunshot wound.

The trio is being held at the Otter Tail County Jail.

35-year-old Derek Koch from Dalton, Minnesota, 20-year-old Shaylee McCulloch from Dalton and 20-year-old Hailey Johnson from Erhard.

All three are being held on charges of conspiracy to commit murder in the second degree, aiding and abetting and assault in the first degree.

Neighbors we spoke to say they heard a loud noise that they initially thought was a door slamming.

Within a matter of minutes, police had come into the building in downtown Fergus Falls and evacuated the people who live here.

Neighbors say many people come and go into and out of this building during all hours of the day and night and one resident says waking up to police overnight on Tuesday is the last thing he expected.

"I would say it was surprising, but you know, this neighborhood is kind of sketchy so. Things lately have been helping," said Robby Henderson, Neighbor.

Neighbors say there has been more activity lately in this area, but that nothing like this shooting has happened in the past.

The victim's name is not being released by authorities.

Police say the man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
