MOORHEAD—Hundreds of people packed along 11th street in Moorhead to celebrate MSUM Saturday morning.

The annual Homecoming Parade had over 75 floats.

Groups who walked in the parade played music, threw candy and showed off their dragon pride.

This year, MSUM'S homecoming campaign hopes to raise one ton of food for the Great Plains Food Bank.

Alumni says it's great to see a big turn out for a good cause and of course, to celebrate the dragons.

"Those of those who are alum, we are remembering back to when we were students. When we were 18, 19, 20, 21 years old. Where we were in life and how this university was there for us as we launched into the next phases of our lives," said Dave Wahlberg, MSUM Alumni.

The dragons played against the University of Minnesota Duluth for their Homecoming game.
