METRO—The Red River Market in downtown Fargo celebrated the new season with the annual Fall Festival.

This is the market's 3rd year, bringing in 65 vendors and over 7,000 people.

Organizers say the market provides a place for people from all walks of life gather in the community.

"We need places for the public to gather, this is the town forum of the community. We welcome all people from all walks of life and you can run into old friends, see new faces, and enjoy being outside and in public," said Joe Burgum, Red River Market Organizer.
