Minnkota Windows is building a new 78,000 square foot manufacturing facility, for its line of vinyl windows and patio doors. Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU began its quest for another dominating weekend on the track at home this afternoon as the Summit League Championships got underway, the Bison women going for a 7th straight title while the men were looking for a 5th straight championship. Men's Hammer Throw, NDSU's Trevor Berner the favorite going into it. He tosses a 60.04 on this throw, that good for second place behind Western Illinois' Nathaniel Marshall. Laredo, TX (WDAY TV) - The 19th season of F-M RedHawks baseball begins Thursday night; deep in the heart of Texas as the Hawks take on the Laredo Lemurs. This is the start of 11 games in 11 days for the Hawks; and when you add on the road exhibition games, total travel for the team before they come back to Fargo will near 2900 miles. But they say being on the road for that long isn't such a bad thing. Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - EDC golf season is winding down. Grand Forks Invite was held at Kings Walk Golf Course Thursday morning. Let's start at the par 4 6th, Wahpeton's Thomas Nelson with the long birdie putt, just off the mark, he makes par and shoots 70. Davies Tanner Kretchman at the 11th has this birdie, he's able to handle that, shoots 79. But everyone was chasing West Fargo's Riley Johnson, who has dominated the season, shoots 69 today, 4th time he's won.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Police arrested a man after people reported hearing gunfire in their southwest Fargo neighborhood early Thursday morning. Police say the man told them he was "testing" the weapons. He's 22 year old Armando Mata Zavala of Fargo who, as a convicted felon, is prohibited from having firearms. It happened just after 3 a.m. in the area of large apartment complexes along the 4800 block of 47th Street South. Several people called to report gunshots, and one caller said Zavala was responsible.
