SARGENT CO.—A large snake is on the loose in a North Dakota town. WDAY News spoke directly with the Sargent County sheriff who says this 6 to 7 foot python got away from its owner in Forman a week ago. It wasn't officially reported missing until Friday, July 27, because the owner thought it may be in her home. It could have traveled around the area, so you're asked to be on the lookout. If you see it, call 911 and do not approach it. The sheriff is warning that pet owners and people with small children should be extra cautious.
FARGO N.D.—Some roads will be closed this weekend as the Fargo AirSho officially starts up. Starting at 8 a.m., Saturday morning 19th ave will be closed from 18th Street North to University Drive. There are also closures on Albrecht Boulevard and 16th Street North near 19th avenue. More closures will start at 10:45 that morning when dakota drive north and more of 19th ave North are closed off. FARGO N.D.—And roads around Hector International Airport are closed, as the Blue Angels practice. Those same roads will be closed from 11:30 am Thursday, July 26, to 5 p.m. Friday for the same reason. Here's the list of the closures: • 19th Avenue North—between Dakota Drive and 18th Street North. • Dakota Drive from 19th Avenue North to 12th Avenue North. • 15th Avenue North, between Dakota Drive and 18th Street North • 32nd Avenue North, west of University Drive, will be shut down.

FERGUS FALLS Minn.—A jury returned two guilty verdicts in a criminal case involving the death of a teen-ager from Henning. Jason Vadner, 36, was on trial this week for a criminal vehicular homicide charge in connection with a crash that killed 16-year old Jacob Quam of Vining. Jacob was on his way to Henning High school for a morning workout, when Vadner's semi-truck crossed over and hit Jacob's car head on. The crash report from State Patrol decided Vadner had been driving too fast on a foggy morning.
MOORHEAD Minn.—WDAY is following some breaking news out of Moorhead, as police there continue an investigation on the north side of town. Several officers are on scene at 15 1/2 st. and 13th ave. N. Details are limited at this point but wday has confirmed through dispatch that the call started as an attempt to locate a wanted person on University Drive, and main avenue in Fargo. MOORHEAD Minn.—Crews are responded to a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon. The rollover happened on 15th st S, thats a block away from lamb park off of 8th street. It happened just after 4:30 p.m. Its unclear if there have been any injuries, or how the crash happened. WDAY has a news crew on scene, and will bring you the latest information. GRAND FORKS - The Grand Forks Police Department is identifying the woman who died after being found unresponsive in a Grand Forks pool as 61-year-old Maggie Berlin of Grand Forks.
RED LAKE FALLS Minn.—A Red Lake Falls woman is now in jail, after being formally charged with murder for the death of a 2-month-old girl. Sarah Kortan, 30, is being charged with second degree murder. Authorities say she's currently Police were first called out to an apartment building in Red Lake Falls on June 20th, for a report of a baby not breathing. The girl was then airlifted to Fargo, but died just two days later. The baby's mom is in jail and another relative has been caring for the child since she was born.
