Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Down by ten with less than four minutes left in the game, Fergus Falls leaned on Nathan Rund to lead them to victory. The Sophomore guard poured in 34 points for the Otters in the 63-60 win over Alexandria in the 8AAA championship game. For the first time since 2004, Fergus Falls is headed to state.
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - North Star used a 14-0 run to pull in front of F-C-T to move on to the North Dakota Girls Class B State semifinals. The Bearcats topped the Rebels 37-28. North Star will play Shiloh Christian in the semifinals tommorrow. Across the bracket, Watford City will play Park River-Fordville-Lankin in the other semifinal game.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Madness is a perfect word to describe the way this year as gone in the Summit league. NDSU heads down to Sioux Falls as the 5th seed, earning them a first round date with 4th seed IUPUI.
WDAY TV - After finishing below .500 last year and losing in the opening round of the 8AA playoffs, the DGF boys basketball team is on the road to redemption. Friday, the Rebels will play Perham for a trip to the state tournament on the line. The Yellowjackets have won the first two meetings this season against D-G-F, but this time the Rebels are ready for them.
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY/WDAZ TV) - Red River topped Bismarck 4-3 in the North Dakota Boys Hockey championship game to become the first team in 49 years to finish a season undefeated. The Roughriders finished with a record of 27-0. Red River sophomore forward Mason Salquist was named the tournament MVP. Roughriders senior Brock Montgomery was named the North Dakota senior athlete of the year for boys hockey.
Omaha, NE - UND beat Omaha 4-1 to complete the weekend sweep. The Fighting Hawks are now 6 points ahead of the St. Cloud State for first place in the NCHC. UND will close out the regular season at home against Western Michigan on Friday.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - In the opening round of the women's WCHA playoffs UND blew out St. Cloud State 6-1. Senior Meghan Dufault scored four points to lead the Fighting Hawks. With a win tomorrow night, UND will advance to its sixth consecutive WCHA Final Face-Off.
Omaha, NE (WDAY TV) - UND grabbed sole possesion of first place in the NCHC with a 4-2 win against Omaha and some help from Minnesota-Duluth. Prior to Friday night's game, the Fighting Hawks were tied for the top spot, but St. Cloud State fell to UMD 4-1. UND will close out its weekend series with Omaha Saturday night.
