FARGO - The Beyer ATA Martial Arts studio in Fargo has three of its athletes heading to the ATA World Championships this summer. 8 year-old Jacob Guerrero will be competing in form, weapon and combat sparring in the 8 and under division. 11 year-old Ethan Burtsfield will be competing in form and weapon in the 11 and 12 year-old division.

FARGO - West Fargo jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the first inning of its game against Fargo Post 2 on Monday behind a Drake Flesche home-run. The Patriots added to their lead in third with two more runs making it 5-0. But a six-run fifth inning from Post 2 gave the home team the win in game one of the double-header, 6-5.

Schatz won his 11th race of the season at the River City Speedway in front of a fantastic crowd, making his homecoming even sweeter. The World of Outlaws will circle back to Grand Forks on August 17th.
FARGO - The F-M RedHawks held off a late Kansas City rally to take game three of their series 8-6 and improve to 14-14 overall. The RedHawks were led by Will Solomon on the mound, he went 7.1 innings and captured his third win of the season. Fargo-Moorhead will take a day off before heading to Sioux City on Tuesday.
MOORHEAD - NDSU golfer Andrew Israelson fended off teammate Van Holmgren and Jon Miller to win the BlackRidgeBank Amateur at Moorhead Country Club. Israelson shot a 2nd round 71 and finished one under par, one stroke better than Holmgren and Miller.
FARGO - The 2018 Tri-City Storm youth soccer tournament at the Pepsi Soccer Complex wrapped up action Saturday where over 150 teams from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Canada played nearly 400 games in a three day span. The Storm opened their summer season with this tournament and feel it helps them tremendously down the road to see a diverse talent pool this early on.
