WEST FARGO—The 53-year-old co-owner of TNT Diner here who was found dead after he went missing two months ago died by suicide, an autopsy showed. Tim Hagensen died of asphyxiation apparently caused by carbon monoxide, according to a report from the Forensic and Autopsy Service at the University of North Dakota released Friday, June 10, by the Cass County Coroner's Office.
FARGO—A Fargo man has been charged in Cass County District Court with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in connection with a shooting in West Fargo last spring. Nadin Aaron Ishmel Khoury, 18, is accused in court documents of firing a gun multiple times from a moving car and in the direction of another person during an incident in a West Fargo parking lot on April 13.
MOORHEAD -- A North Dakota sheriff charged with disorderly conduct following an altercation at a Dilworth bar in May chastised and repeatedly criticized the police officer who investigated the incident.

FARGO—A new trial date has been set for a Fargo man charged with murder. The trial for Jason W. Oien, 34, is now scheduled to start Sept. 27 in Cass County District Court. The trial had been set to start June 21, but it was pushed back after Oien took on a new attorney, Rhiannon Gorham, a lawyer with the Grand Forks Public Defender's Office. Court papers indicate Oien's previous attorney, Ross Brandborg, had a conflict.
ALICE, N.D. — A 51-year-old man is accused of assaulting a female early in the morning, on Thursday, June 2, at a rural Cass County residence. The victim told Cass County Sheriff's Office deputies that she had been held against her will and was subjected to physical and sexual assault, according to a news release.
MINOT, N.D.— A Minot man is expected to face a number of charges stemming from a chase near Minot on Thursday afternoon, June 2, according to a report released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. According to the report: The incident began when a Highway Patrol trooper stopped a reported reckless driver near Minot. After being stopped, the suspect intentionally rammed the trooper's patrol vehicle, causing substantial damage and disabling it.
HANKINSON, N.D. — Two men were injured when their vehicles collided on Interstate 29 as an SUV tried to make a U-turn in an area of road construction and head-to-head traffic about 6:40 p.m. Thursday, June 2, a North Dakota State Patrol officer reported.
FARGO – The historic Don and Mary Kinzler house in south Fargo will be relocated to a new lot within the city under a settlement agreement approved Wednesday, June 1, by the City Commission. The city will assume ownership of land under the current location of the Kinzler home at 1421 42nd Ave. S. to allow for construction of a flood risk reduction project, a release from the city stated.
