FARGO—After catching a few sales during the recent retail holidays you may be feeling guilty for your purchases. You can change that feeling by giving back, it's the 6th annual Giving Tuesday. Family Wellness in Fargo celebrated the day with a taco bar. There, they encouraged people to make a $5 donation to their non-profit, the Inspire Wellness Initiative. The goal of the initiative is to inspire children and adults to cook, move and live well.

Fargo Police blocked off streets and evacuated people from their homes in the area. Police were called to 3525 11th St. S. around 11:15 p.m. last night.

Just after midnight, police got a call reporting vandalism to 5 different cars parked in the 400 Blk of Brook Ave. Later, another car was found vandalized on 24th Ave. S. near the Family Fare.

More than 200,000 gallons leaked from the Keystone Pipeline near the North Dakota border. TransCanada Corporation says it's making progress on its investigation into the spill.

Amy Anderson, a veterinarian at the West Fargo Animal Hospital says the possibility of fleas, ticks, viruses and infections spreading by sleeping with your pet are rare, but it could happen, and your pets aren't necessarily the main culprit.
MOORHEAD—You can learn about pet organizations and businesses in the metro at the 4th Annual Paws for Celebration event. It's happening this Saturday at the Moorhead Center Mall from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Diamond in the Ruff Pet Rescue is hosting the event, but other animal shelters from the area will be there too. Paws for Celebration gives you a chance to ask questions about pet ownership, meet adoptable animals and find out more about how you can local help shelters. The event is free and open to anyone.
