Brian joined WDAZ in October of 2014, after reporting and anchoring at WDAY in Fargo since October 2013.
He currently co-anchors the 6 and 10pm WDAZ News weekdays, and co-anchors the Saturday 6 and 10pm WDAY/WDAZ simulcast news.
He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Journalism.
Brian has traveled across the country as a spokesperson for the automotive industry. He has also lived in Los Angeles, working in entertainment before pursuing his career in broadcasting. It’s experiences like these that give him a unique perspective when reporting.
Brian is a Michigan Wolverines fan with an avid interest in politics and golf.
He is thrilled to be sharing stories with the Greater Grand Forks community working at WDAZ and looks forward to hearing any of your comments, concerns and story ideas.

Near Thompson, ND (WDAY/WDAZ TV) - A distracted driving crash near Thompson sent two people to the hospital late Friday night. 30-year old Raymond Lassiter was driving southbound around 10:30 at a slower speed on I-29 because he was driving on a spare tire. Lassiter was rear-ended by 17-year-old Hannah Thompson who Highway Patrol says was reaching down to grab a cell phone that had fallen. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries. Charges are pending and the crash is still under investigation.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Devils Lake man is in jail after fleeing police in a stolen car. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Police tried to pull over 26-year-old Martin Nerison just before 8:00 tonight. Nerison then sped away and led officers on a chase down Interstate 29 in Cass County. Officers called OnStar which was able to slow the vehicle to 5-miles-per-hour. Nerison is being charged with Fleeing an officer, driving under suspension and possession of stolen property.

Police say this all surrounds one incident.
