FARGO -- On the heels of winning the first gold medal in US Curling history, the National Curling Championships were in Fargo last week. Joel Sipper has more.

FARGO -- With their 1 loss record on the line, Bismarck Century used a 12-0 run late in the 2nd half to pull away and beat Mandan on Saturday, becoming the first team since 1997 to win the Class A boys and girls basketball championships.
FARGO -- For the first time in seven years, the Century Patriots won the Class A boys basketball title. That was thanks in large part to their 7 seniors, who carried the load for much of the year.
WDAY/WDAZ-TV -- This week's plays of the week come to us from the West as Grant County sinks two buzzer beaters en route to winning their first ever state title and Bismarck Century has their third buzzer beater of the year.
MINOT -- It was never easy for the Grant County Coyotes. First, they had to take down an undefeated Shiloh Christian team in overtime, holding them to zero points in the extra frame. They then had to grab a win at the buzzer to upset reigning state champion Kindred. After that, they knocked off the number one seed in the tournament in Medina-Pingree/Buchanon. The last part was easy, controlling play on their way to beating Killdeer in the championship game.
GRAND FORKS -- With their two ties against St. Cloud State this weekend, the UND hockey team clinched home ice advantage for the NCHC playoffs for the 16th straight year. Mark Pearson has more from the Ralph.
