Educators and business leaders want to build a career workforce academy in Cass County. Backers will ask the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education for approval to begin raising money for the initiative, which would not involve state appropriations. If successful, the new training center would be roughly twice as large as the Fargo campus of the North Dakota State College of Science.
