Thunderstorms Bring Hail to Much of Northern Valley
(WDAZ-TV) - Thunderstorms led to hail in much of the northern part of the state Tuesday night. Viewers sent us pictures of hail that accumulated near Crystal, Cavalier and Langdon. The hail was described as pea-sized, between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch.

Take a look at this: This huge hailstone fell near Vivian, South Dakota on Friday. The huge chunk of ice measures 8-inches in diameter with an 18-and-a-half inch circumference! It's neat to see, just not something you ever want to see in your own backyard.

Video: Sawyer, North Dakota hit with baseball-sized hail
Baseball size hail left behind lots of damage, but luckily no injuries. The hail was plentiful and a number of people kept a few of the stones as souvenirs. The storm system also caused major street flooding and a power outage in Drake.

Friday storms cause damage around the region
Severe weather around the region caused some damage Friday night, especially in Minnesota's Beltrami County. The National Weather Service reported the area near Waskish, Minn., sustained wind damage shortly before midnight.
