WDAY TV -  Laura Roesler is one of the most decorated athletes the state of North Dakota has ever produced.

22 state titles in high school. A NCAA champion in the 800 meters.

She was back in her home state this past weekend as she was inducted into the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.

Now Roesler has another big weekend ahead of her. She will compete in the 800 meter dash at the USA Championships in Des Moines this weekend.

Coming off a disappointing US Olympic Trials in 2016 where she didn't advance to the 800 meter semifinals, Roesler took some time for herself away from the track.
