Davies hockey rolls past Bismarck

FARGO -- The Davies Eagles grabbed two goals in the first period and two goals in the third period to beat Bismarck 4-1 on Friday. 

The Demons had come into the game as the top-ranked team in the West. 

Jared Winter held a shutout into the third period when Bismarck scored their lone goal of the game.

Austin Schmidt broke the ice just two minutes into the game, Jay Bucholz added a shorthanded tally just four minutes later.

The Eagles improve to 13-2-2 on the season, good for third place in the East.

Bismarck falls to 14-3-0, they remain first in the West.
