Dolphins release former Bison QB Jensen

Miami, FL (WDAY TV) - The Miami Dolphins have released former NDSU quarterback Brock Jensen, according to a press release from the team.

The release on reports that the team cut Jensen to make room for running back Cameron Marshall. Marshall, out of Arizona State University, returns to the Dolphins after being waived on May 28th. Marshall was originally signed by the team as a rookie free agent in May of 2013 and has had multiple stints with the Dolphins, including being signed to their practice squad in November of 2013.

The move leaves Jensen without a team for the second time in two weeks. He was cut on July 29th to make room for Universtiy of Northern Colorado quarterback Seth Lobato, but re-signed days later following an injuries to back-up quaterbacks Matt Moore and Pat Devlin.

Jensen, the all-time FCS wins leader and owner of three FCS Championship rings from his time at North Dakota State, is left with an uncertain future as the preseason continues.
