Bison rally past UTEP at Sun Bowl Invitational

EL PASO, Texas—Senior guard Paul Miller scored a game-high 19 points and added eight rebounds to help lead North Dakota State to 63-51 victory against Texas-El Paso on Friday in Division I men's basketball at the Sun Bowl Invitational.

The Bison (7-6) have won four of their past five games. Sophomore guard Tyson Ward had a double-double for NDSU, adding 10 points and 11 rebounds. Senior forward AJ Jacobson chipped in eight points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

NDSU scored 42 points in the second half to rally from a 25-21 halftime deficit. Senior guard Keith Frazier paced UTEP with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bison next play on Dec. 30 when they host the University of Jamestown at Scheels Center at Sanford Health Athletic Complex.
