FARGO—Former North Dakota State men's basketball standout Kory Brown has signed a contract with SSV Lokomotive Bernau in Germany's ProB division—the same team former Bison Dexter Werner signed with in July.

Brown and Werner arrived on NDSU's campus together in the summer of 2012, and now they will become teammates once again in a suburb of Berlin. With Brown joining the professional ranks, NDSU has produced five pro players in the last four seasons.

Brown finished among NDSU's all-time top 20 in career blocks (7th), steals (13th), field goal percentage (15th), rebounds (16th) and assists (17th). He played in 125 games with 123 starts—the third most starts in school history.

A native of Hoffman Estates, Ill., Brown averaged 10.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a senior in the 2015-16 season. He posted single-game highs of 23 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and five steals his senior year.
