Chicago Dogs hand RedHawks a third consecutive loss

CHICAGO—Trey Vavra belted a three-run home run to help lead the Chicago Dogs to a 6-3 victory against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Sunday in American Association baseball before 1,439 fans at Impact Field.

Vavra went 2-for-3 with four RBIs. The RedHawks (20-20) have lost three consecutive games.

Leo Pina went 3-for-4 with two RBIs to lead F-M. Devan Ahart went 3-for-5, including a double and triple.

The RedHawks next play at the St. Paul Saints (22-20) at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
