West Fargo's Strahm stellar starting for San Diego
ST. LOUIS - Matt Strahm is getting closer to his old self.
The former West Fargo Packer was sensational Tuesday night in St. Louis, throwing three hitless innings as his Padres beat St. Louis, 4-2.
Strahm made the start in what was deemed a "bullpen day" by San Diego manager Andy Green.
Strahm was dominant, striking out four batters, not allowing a hit or a walk.
Strahm is eleven months removed from patellar tendon surgery when he was in Kansas City. The Padres are eyeing Strahm as a starter for 2019.
