FARGO - The F-M RedHawks made league history Thursday and did it in style in their 3-2 win over the Lincoln Saltdogs.

The RedHawks turned two triple plays in the game, the first time that's happened in the history of the American Association.

Each play was nearly indentical, a ground ball hit to third baseman Josh Mazzola, who then went around the horn to complete the triple play.

It happened in the top of the first and then again in the top of the fifth.

The RedHawks scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 8th to pick up a valuable win.

The Hawks lead the wild card by half a game with four games remaining in the season.
