2 / 2

Oakland, CA (WDAY TV) - Big night for the Twins, future, that is.

Talented pitching prospect Trevor May making his major league debut against Oakland.

The Twins offense gave him an early lead; Trevor Plouffe slaps a single to right-center. Brian Dozier comes home for a 1-0 score.

May took the hill from there, and struggled. He walked in a run, but he gets bailed out too. Josh Reddick flies out to left, and Josh Willingham guns down the runner trying to score from third for the inning ending double play.

But, May's struggles continue in the 2nd. He ends up walking 7 batters in only 2 innings of work that led to 4 runs.

Minnesota trails the A's 6-2 in the 6th.
