MOORHEAD - Just when you think Moorhead Spuds senior forward Carter Randklev's night couldn't have been any better, he goes and makes ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10 plays.

Randklev's hat trick led the Spuds to a 6-1 victory against Brainerd at the Moorhead Sports Center Tuesday night, Nov. 28. But it was his first goal of the night that ended up overshadowing the other two--combined.

The highlight-reel goal was the No. 8 play in SportsCenter's Top 10 Tuesday night.

In an interview with The Forum's Eric Peterson after the game, Randklev said he'd been working on the move for a couple of years, but could never muster up the courage to use it in an actual game.

"I guess it just felt right in the moment," Randklev told Peterson. "If you pull it off, it looks pretty sweet, but if it doesn't work out it's not always the greatest for your team, but I think it was just the right time."

The next game for the No. 5-ranked Spuds (2-1) is on Saturday, Dec. 2, against Buffalo on the road.
