NAPA, CA - Tom Hoge's great play isn't cooling off anytime soon.

The Fargo South graduate started off the new PGA Tour season in style, carding a seven under par round of 65 to tie for the lead at the Safeway Open.

Hoge made six birdies on the back nine alone, shooting 30 there.

Hoge is three days removed from earning his PGA Tour card for 2018, shooting a 65 in the final round on Monday.

His best finish on the PGA Tour in four seasons is a tie for fourth, that happened in Reno in August.
