Michael was born in Washington DC and grew up in Maple Grove, Minnesota. He went to Bemidji State University where he graduated in 2007 with a degree in Mass Communications with an electronics emphasis. Prior to joining the WDAY team in October 2007, Michael worked for WCCO in Minneapolis as an operations technician.
