Woman faces felony DUI for hitting pedestrian

FARGO, N.D. — A woman could face a felony charge after police say she drove drunk and hit someone walking on Saturday night.

They say Desiree Nelson, 46, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Saturday after allegedly hitting a walker.

It happened at the intersection of University and 27th Ave. S., right by the Bowler.

Nelson was arrested for Felony DUI.

The victim's name isn't being released, but police say the crash caused "serious injury."
