FARGO -- As the Fargo-Moorhead area gets ready for potentially the coldest couple of nights of the season, Stormatracker Meteorologist Lauren Hilko explains how these frigid temps can be used for a little fun.

Dangerously cold wind chill values are in the forecast through Monday, we are forcasting wind chill values anywhere from 30 to 50 below zero and also dangerously cold conditions.

No major snow storms are in the forecast, but it is so cold that you can make snow right at home.

With a hot cup of water in your hand, and if you were to throw it, it produces snow.

So if you are traveling, keep an emergency kit in your car, bundle up, and limit your time outside.
