MOORHEAD— A former swimming coach for the MSUM Dragons is behind bars tonight accused of luring minors.

23-year-old Nicholas Asmann was arrested on Friday after police got a tip he'd exposed himself to a 15-year-old boy over Skype.

The tip also suggested Asmann asked the child to take off his clothes, and sent nude pictures of himself.

A search of Asmann's apartment in Fargo turned up images of child pornography.

Asmann admitted to police some Skype chats "went too far."

He was a coach for the Dragon Swim School from 2014 to the summer of 2016.

MSUM released a statement saying it has "no record of complaints against" Asmann.

The university says it's cooperating with law enforcement and encourages anyone with information to contact police.
