ND towns get to know new UND president Mark Kennedy
Larimore, ND (WDAY TV) - New UND president Mark Kennedy is making his presence known across North Dakota.
Kennedy stopped in Larimore today as part of his "coffee with Kennedy" initiative, visiting small towns across the region to chat with alumni and friends of the university. Today, people asked Kennedy about everything from the university's morale to his grandchildren.
The new president will visit seven towns over the next two days, and the stop he's most looking forward to is still to come.
"My father use to work in Hunter, he used to work in the bank in Hunter, so to have him go back to the place where he worked, where my oldest daughter was born while we were living in Hunter I think will be my most special visit on this trip," said Mark Kennedy, President, University of North Dakota.
Kennedy will also make stops in Mayville and Casselton tomorrow.
