Wrong Way Driver Charged with DUI After Hitting Construction
A Fargo man is facing a DUI charge for the second time this month...this time after police say he drove the wrong way on I-94 Tuesday night before crashing into road construction.
Authorities say 32-year-old Eugene Quinnett sped in the eastbound lane all the way from West Fargo to Casselton, about 13 miles.
He then hit construction signs and painting equipment before smashing into barriers.
Police say Quinnett wasn't wearing his seatbelt and had to be taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries before he was arrested.
Court records show he was arrested on the 4th for DUI and has previous charges of shoplifting, speeding, and improperly passing on the left.
