Update: Jamestown police still searching for missing woman

As of 6:50 p.m. today, the Jamestown Police Department is still searching for Mary Jo Baker, 42, of Jamestown.

Assistant Chief Maj. John Johnson said Baker owns a maroon Chevrolet Equinox SUV with North Dakota license plate EVN611.

“We’re trying to do a welfare check on her,” Johnson said.

She is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with shoulder length dark brown hair.

Officers have been searching for Baker since 9 a.m. today. Johnson said he couldn’t comment more on Baker, only that her family and friends are worried about her.

Anyone who has seen or been in contact with Baker is asked to call Stutsman County Communications at 252-1000.
