Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Biking 2,300 miles sounds exhausting.

But can you imagine biking that distance, then building a shed?

That's what a group of volunteers did for a disabled Moorhead veteran and his family.

"Bike and Build" is an organization that works to provide better housing conditions for Americans.

They travel across the country on bike to help those in need.

Monday, volunteers helped the Blair family with landscaping and finished a shed the veteran started before an injury that caused him to lose his right leg.

Melissa Blair a Veteran’s Wife says, “It is, it's just wonderful. You know that these people go all throughout the country and do this for, ya know, people like us.”

Bike and Build volunteers will have biked a total of 4,000 miles once they complete their route.
