Pair charged with copper theft in Clay County

Moorhead, MN - Two men have been accused of stealing copper wire from an American Crystal Sugar site where beets are dropped off, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Harry James Folstrom, 57, has been arrested on charges of first-degree criminal damage to property and felony theft. He’s in custody in Hubbard County on a probation violation.

The second man, Gordon Allen Kiehl, 46, faces the same charges. He remains at large, the sheriff’s department said.
