West Fargo woman faces several charges in overnight crash

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A West Fargo woman suspected in hit and run accidents was arrested early Wednesday in Fargo.

42-year-old Brenda Lovgren faces charges of DUI, operating a vehicle without insurance and failure to stay at the accident scene.

Police were called to a hit and run accident on South University Drive at about 12:45 a.m. Officers found two signs knocked down in the area and the car that had been struck at a 1500 32nd Avenue South parking lot. Officers traced evidence back to the suspect's vehicle.

Lovegren was arrested and has been released from Cass County jail.

She’s also kept a journal since the eighth grade - likely an early sign she would be a writer.
