$16,000 worth of hash oil, pot seized in Becker County; two 18-year-olds arrested
OSAGE, Minn. — A search warrant led to the arrest of two 18-year-olds Wednesday, Sept. 12, suspected of possessing four guns and $16,000 worth of marijuana and hash oil.
Morgan Elizabeth Marie Anderson, of Park Rapids, and Matthew Michael Gibson, of Osage, were being held Thursday, Sept. 13, at Becker County Jail, pending formal charges of selling a controlled substance, Sheriff Todd Glander said in a news release.
Authorities seized 338 grams of butane hash oil, a concentrate extracted from cannabis that’s known as “dabs,” “hash” or “wax.” Authorities also seized 616 grams of marijuana, the sheriff said.
Glander said the estimated street value of the pot products is $16,000.
