Teenager shot multiple times at Minot apartment complex
MINOT, N.D. -- A teenager was shot multiple times at an apartment complex in northwest Minot Wednesday night about 6:30 p.m.
Minot police patrol commander John Klug said the 18-year-old man was taken to Trinity Hospital and it appeared he would survive.
As of late Wednesday night, no suspects were in custody. However, Klug said that it appeared to be an isolated incident and there was no immediate danger to the public.
Klug said the teen was found at a residence, where a 911 call was placed, but that the shooting had taken place at a nearby apartment complex.
Officers arrived on the scene and provided medical assistance to the victim until Community Ambulance arrived.
The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Minot Police Department at 852-0111 or Crime Stoppers at 852-7463.
