3 men arrested in Fargo gun theft, fourth sought


FARGO - Three men have been arrested for stealing pistols from a local pawn shop earlier this week and a fourth man is still being sought, the Fargo Police Department reported Friday, Feb. 9.

According to police:

Four men entered First National Pawn, 2305 Main Ave., about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

Two of the men tried to distract an employee while another acted as a lookout. The fourth man opened the locked pistol case and took two pistols.

Surveillance video footage helped police identify three of the men as Lamonte Levelle Adams, Lionel Fraction Jr. and Deandre Trevon Johnston.

The fourth male has not yet been identified.

A search warrant was executed about 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, in the 800 Block of Barrett St. N. by the Red River Valley SWAT, U.S. Marshal's Service and the Metro Street Crimes Unit.

Adams, 21, no permanent address, and Fraction, 25, of Fargo, were arrested for Class C felony theft of firearms. Johnston, 24, no permanent address, was arrested for Class C felony theft of firearms and a Class C felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
