FARGO — Fargo police arrested two people after a brief early morning chase Tuesday, Jan. 30, on two interstates, Deputy Chief Joe Anderson said.

According to Anderson, officers tried to stop a vehicle at 4:01 a.m. that was northbound on Interstate 29. While the driver didn't make any evasive actions, she failed to pull over until the vehicle had exited I-29 and begun traveling on westbound Interstate 94.

After the vehicle stopped, the passenger fled but was apprehended a short time later, Anderson said.

The passenger, Cody J. Moffet, 23, of West Fargo, was arrested on charges of refusing to halt, ingesting a controlled substance and several warrants, Anderson said.

The driver, who remained on the scene of the traffic stop, was identified as Kyah Moore, 19, of West Fargo, Anderson said. Moore was arrested on charges of fleeing in a vehicle and methamphetamine possession.
