Fatal crash near New England, ND

NEW ENGLAND, ND -- A Dickinson woman is dead after crashing and rolling a vehicle on Friday, December 1st at 2pm.

According to a release by North Dakota Highway Patrol, Y Mani Zayd Freeman, 21, of Dickinson was driving south on 130th Ave SW in Slope county, about 13 miles southwest of New England, when she lost control over the vehicle.

Freeman rolled the car several times, ejecting 3 of the 4 vehicle occupants.

The vehicle's 3 passengers were: Alyssa Jo Golden, 19, of Dickinson, Brian Sweet, 22, of Amidon and Dylon Janke, 20, of Jamestown.

Freeman was killed in the crash and 2 passengers were seriously injured.

Alcohol was a factor in the crash and they weren't wearing seatbelts.

The crash is still under investigation.
