UPDATE: Employees back inside sunflower plant after fire

Two injured in rear-end crash in Walsh County

MINTO, ND-- Two people are hurt after a crash two miles north of Minto at 5:28 p.m. on Thursday.

44-year-old Shawn Praska and 72-year-old Sandra Kasprick both of Grafton were traveling nothbound on Highway 81 when their vehicles collided.

Praska was driving faster than Kasprick and didn't notice the difference in speed. He rear-ended Kasprick's vehicle causing his car to go off road and into the east ditch. Kasprick's vehicle was pushed into the southbound lane.

Praska was injured and taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Kasprick was not hurt, but her passenger 75-year-old Marie Boura of Grafton was taken by ambulance to Unity Hospital in Grafton.

The crash remains under investigation.
