FARGO—Sanford and the Fargo Marathon are making sure "everyone" is involved in marathon events, even children in the hospital.

On Wednesday afternoon, kids who can't leave the hospital had their own 'unique' marathon events; there were six different activities.

One of the first and clearly most dynamic participants of the day, Lilly Peters was quite the star of the show with the syringe challenge.

She gave a few other activities a try, too.

"I did that little challenge. My arms are kind of sore now. Today, I entered the coloring contest and my page is hanged up," said Lilly Peters, Participant.

Marathon Organizer Mark Knuston handed out medals to children.
