FARGO—The Red River Zoo is calling on all "trainers" for their Pokemon Go Social.

They teamed up with a local Pokemon Go group to get special Pokemon at the zoo.

Trainers could find a 'shiny' Pokemon and evolve it as part of the afternoon's event.

The Zoo put out "lures" on Pokestops and gyms for battles.

Visitors also won prizes by showing staff who their favorite Pokemon is.

The event goes to show there's no age limit to Pokemon training.

"The majority of our community isn't even kids. It's adults between the ages of 21 and probably what 40?" said Brandon Finck, Pokemon trainer.

This is the 8th social event the zoo has held with Pokemon Go.
