Pre Registration for MATBUS's "iGoEco Challenge" begins
FARGO—Commuters in the Fargo-Moorhead area could win prizes by taking the bus.
MATBUS's "iGoEco Challenge" encourages people to ditch their car for the whole day, once a week for five weeks.
Anyone who succeeds in this eco-friendly journey could win prizes.
Some are valued at $1,000.
They suggest biking, rollerblading or taking the bus instead of driving.
"So you can bike out to a bus stop, hop on board, get across town and then bike to your final destination." said assistant transit director, Matt Peterson.
The first 200 people who sign up get a free metallic water bottle.
MATBUS had about 300 people sign up for last year's iGoEco challenge.
