FARGO—Teens geared up at the new Robotics Center.

Thursday, more than 60 teens from Fargo, West Fargo, and Moorhead built robots at the facility.

It's in a warehouse on 39th Street North.

A company donated the space, and each school received its own work area.

They were getting ready for the regional competition in March.

Rooms were filled with gears, wires and tools, all built by the kids.

Organizers said this gave students the opportunity to work with professionals in the field.

"We're giving the kids a first-hand, on-hand relationship with engineers in their fields now," said Arion Poitra, Robotics Marketing.
