Big Brothers Big Sisters on look out for more male mentors
FARGO—Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Fargo needs more male mentors.
The organization matches volunteers with children from single parents homes.
Many boys wait more than a year before being matched with his mentor.
Volunteers spend time with their matches, and develop friendships.
Mentors need no special skills and no experience with kids.
"It's been rewarding and an opportunity to make friends and give back to the community," said Mike Scarski, Big Brother.
"I'm really glad Mike is my big brother, and I have someone to spend time with," said Omar, Little Brother.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is part of The Village Family Service Center.
A non-profit you can support on Thursday on Giving Hearts Day.
